Rutland Neighbourhood Mental Health Café

The Rutland Neighbourhood Mental Health Café is a drop-in centre for adults to talk about their mental health. This initiative has been funded by the NHS and hosted by Pepper’s- A Safe Place, Oakham.

They provide a different service to Pepper’s social hub, as the Neighbourhood Mental Health Café offers face to face, one to one listening, aiming to reduce crisis and help clients develop future support plans and goals. The café is staffed by experienced, trained listeners and provides a drop-in centre for people to come and talk, have a cup of tea or coffee in a safe space.

A driver is on hand to provide free transport to and from the café (in the Rutland area) on Thursday and Sunday evenings, just phone during open hours to arrange transport.
