Supporting your mental health

Isolation and social distancing is very difficult for everybody. People with existing mental health issues can find it especially stressful, and those who haven’t previously experienced mental health issues may struggle to cope with isolation and the immense changes to our way of life.

Please ask if you need help. You are not alone.

The 4 Rutland GP practices are open 8am – 6.30pm. We have new ways of working which include telephone and video appointments to keep you safe. Talk to us if you need help with your mental health. You can book an appointment online or by telephone.

The 0116 295 3060 24 hour NHS phone support service (Leicestershire Partnership Trust) is for people of all ages across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland – including existing and previous service users and people who have never used mental health services before. It also support carers, stakeholders and health and social care professionals looking for information and advice.
Calls are answered by call handlers and triaged by a nurse who will assess the urgency and the caller’s need. If an individual requires an assessment, they will be referred to the appropriate service, such as a community mental health team or LPT’s crisis and home treatment team. The team is also supported by a consultant psychiatrist.
